The Oslo Jazz Festival

We were invited to the first Oslo Jazz Festival in 1986 and continued to work with this festival for the next twenty years, primarily as a US-based spokesman, as well as advisors, supplying the festival with the majority of US jazz musicians who performed at the event. I attended the full festival almost every year for twenty years and had as much access as I did at my own festivals except with fewer responsibilities. This afforded a wonderful opportunity to photograph concerts and casual gatherings. The vast majority of my Olso jazz photographs are black and white.
