The photographs in this section are typical of the other sections and are characterized by a wide ranging mix of performers, action shots and posed portraits, all from performances, recordings or film and book projects with which I’ve been associated. The photographs were taken at the Oslo Jazz Festival, the Floating Jazz Festival, Eastwood After Hours, the JVC Jazz Festival and its predecessor, the Kool Jazz Festival, Jazz At Wilkes, the Beacons In Jazz Awards, Chiaroscuro recording sessions, The Ghosts of Harlem project and recording sessions at Downtown Sound for various record companies. All the photographs evoke wonderful musical memories, some of which are actually available on CD or DVD.
